Keaton A. Rye has join The Law Office of David A. Bates, according to an announcement last week from the firm.
Rye grew up in the Franklin area attending Ensworth High School, where he played basketball and football. He was the captain of a state championship basketball team and received the City Civitan Sportsmanship and Leadership Award for Tennessee in 2009. After high school, Rye attended the University of Alabama, where he graduated with a degree in Finance, and was named to the Dean’s List in multiple semesters for academic excellence. While at Alabama, he served as a Baptist Campus Intermural leader, where he oversaw more than 40 sports teams.
Rye obtained his law degree from Belmont University in 2016, where he was involved in the Health Law Society, Christian Law Society and the American Inn of Court. During law school, he worked with in-house counsel at large Healthcare companies including Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Change HealthCare in Donelson.
His primary focus at the Law Office of David A. Bates will be the defense of business professionals and firms in civil litigation throughout Middle Tennessee. He will also be providing assistance to clients with other legal needs, such as wills, small business formation and contracts, family law, and personal injuries.
When Rye is not practicing law, he can be found enjoying bass fishing and duck hunting on Kentucky Lake. He is also PADI certified and enjoys scuba diving, hiking and rooting for the Crimson Tide. He is engaged to Kendle Crider and they will be wed in March. Crider received her doctorate degree from the University of Tennessee and is a physical therapist in Maury County.
