Save the date: the 4th annual Amethyst Affair —Art, Auction, & Awareness will be held on Saturday, Feb 3, 2018 at a new location, the elegant event barn at Allenbrooke Farms in Spring Hill.
The evening promises a program and activities to build hope, community, and awareness to support Maury County’s efforts to combat Domestic Violence. Limited tickets are available at www.amethystaffair.com.
Sponsorships are available to local businesses, individuals and organizations and range from $250 to $1,000. Club members are actively recruiting donations for the silent and live auctions, always a highlight of the evening. The event will include a Wine Pull, fun and competitive silent and live auctions, and a photo booth as part of the festivities. Entertainment will be provided by Trey Healy. Guests will also learn more about the programs, activities, and needs of the Center of Hope , including local statistics and testimonials.
“Love Shouldn’t Hurt” is the theme for the 2018 event. The goal of the evening is to provide at least $5,000 to the Center of Hope Domestic Violence Shelter, serving victims of domestic violence in Maury County, with additional funds retained by the club to support local community projects, mainly in Spring Hill and Thompson’s Station.
Through the years, the GFWC Spring Station Woman’s Club has raised awareness and funds for the Center of Hope Domestic Violence Shelter, contributing more than $15,000 to support the safe housing, counseling, and court advocacy services the shelter provides.
