BASKETBALL: BGA boys get win, GCA has two-day stretch of games

Below are basketball scores from the Williamson County area from the last two days of action.

 

Battle Ground Academy boys best Webb-Bell Buckle 

The BGA Wildcats entered 2019 with a win in their pockets, edging Webb-Bell Buckle 67-56 Thursday.

Garnett Hollis Jr. led all scorers with 17.

Nick Semptimphelter had 11 and Jorian Cantrell and Kenny Rawls both had 10 each.

Grace Christian Academy teams play over two-day span 

The Grace Christian Academy basketball teams have had a busy start to get 2019 going.

The Lady Lions got a win over Lead Academy, 55-39.

Anna Smith and Audrey Sanders both had 21 a piece in the victory.

The Lions couldn’t quite get past Lead, 71-63

McKnatt had 36 and nine treys, while Cole Scott had 17 points.

Thursday, the Lions dropped one to Hickman Co., 80-46.

McKnatt posted up 34 in the win, making seven threes.

The Lady Lions also lost to Hickman, 55-43.

Smith had 17 in the game.
