Battle of Franklin Trust CEO will lead exclusive tours of Carnton focused on memory of Civil War

The Battle of Franklin Trust is adding exclusive tours of Carnton, titled “Franklin, Confederate Monuments and Our War.” The tour will be offered twice and led by Eric A. Jacobson, CEO of The Battle of Franklin Trust.

Tours will resemble the classic guided tours but will focus on the events of late 1864 and how Americans grapple with the memory of the Civil War.

Exclusive tour dates are:

Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 – 5:30 – 7 p.m. at Carnton

Monday, Nov. 5, 2018 – 5:30 – 7 p.m. at Carnton

Each attendee will also receive a free admission ticket for a classic house tour of Carnton.

Tickets are $30 for all ages and must be purchased in advance. Reservations are required and each tour will be limited to 25 guests. For more information and to purchase tickets, please contact Meagan Roberts at 615-794-0903 or meagan@boft.org.
