BrightStone will be hosting its 10th annual Bowlability event August 6 and 7.
Families, churches, businesses, and communities gather for this fun event to support and partner with BrightStone, which in turn profoundly enriches the lives of adults with special needs.
Terry Bridges, BrightStone board member and retired president of Behavioral Health Systems, HCA, described Bowlability as “one of the most rewarding and fun evenings you can have joining with friends and colleagues in a special way to support a very special mission with BrightStone.”
You can set up a team of up to six bowlers for a registration fee of $150 (individuals can register for $25 each). There are four possible two-hour sessions to choose from beginning at either 5 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. Monday, August 6, or Tuesday, August 7. Upon signing up, each individual bowler receives easy to use online tools to help fundraise toward a personal goal. The goal is not an obligation, but an opportunity to support BrightStone through fundraising and growing the awareness of BrightStone’s mission through sharing a fundraising page with family and friends. Every fundraising bowler that raises at least $100 gets an exclusive Bowlability t-shirt at the event. It’s as easy as asking ten friends to give $10 each!
Bowlability is hosted at Franklin Family Entertainment Center, 1200 Lakeview Drive, Franklin, TN 37067.
All proceeds benefit the adults who attend BrightStone and who live each day with intellectual and developmental challenges. BrightStone’s mission is to provide a comprehensive work, social support, and future residential community for adults with special needs, expanding their potential and helping them develop mentally, physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
