The Brentwood-based Nashville United Soccer Academy has hired three new individuals for positions of leadership in its top branch.
“These structural changes will take effect in January 2019 and we feel that these three new positions will add even more value to our young players and families experience as part of NUSA and in our various community programs,” NUSA’s Board of Directors President Nick Goodwin said in a release.
Donna Boone will join as the new Director of Admission, Alan O’Connor will join as the new Director of Soccer Operations in addition to his coaching duties with the Lead Academy team and Robbie Stewart will expand his role with the organization as the new Executive Director/DOC.
Boone was the TSSAA’s Administrator of the Year in 2017 and will be assisted by new NUSA member Jill Arman, registrar and administrative support staff.
“I am very proud of NUSA’s coaching staff, our club culture and everything we have accomplished in the last three years,” Stewart said in the same release.
“When you put the actual players first in every decision as an organization, it’s amazing what you can accomplish. I am looking forward to my new role and to setting and achieving more goals in 2019.”
The organization hosts soccer clubs throughout middle Tennessee to help promote the sport and instruct its young players.
