Three vehicle burglaries were reported at Port Royal Park and Jerry Erwin Park on Tuesday morning, according to a statement put out by the Spring Hill Police Department.
Police reported that the “Felony Lane Gang might be responsible,” based on the locations of the crimes and the accounts taken.
The Felony Lane Gang is an organized burglary and identity theft ring that originated in south Florida, but has spread to many states throughout the U.S., including Tennessee. Composed of primarily women, the gang often recruits prostitutes and drug users, according to the F.B.I most wanted list.
Spring Hill residents are encouraged to lock their doors, and to not leave valuables in plain sight in their vehicles.
