The intersection is closed so emergency responders can clean up the area. The truck spilled a lot of fuel when it crashed and Public Information Officer Justin Whitwell said it would take several hours to clean up. He estimated that the intersection would be closed until roughly 3:15 p.m. or possibly a bit later.
Whitwell said he didn’t know what condition the driver was in, and that investigators from the Tennessee Highway Patrol haven’t determined what caused the crash.
