Celebration of Excellence honors WCAR members and affiliates

Dawne Davis of Parks Realty was named REALTOR® of the year by the Williamson County Association of Realtors during their inaugural Celebration of Excellence on Feb. 24 to honor members who excelled in the real estate market during 2017.

The Celebration, in the ballroom of the Cool Springs Marriott hotel, honored WCAR members who had sold and/or leased out more than $2 million in property during 2017.

The room was filled with beautiful gowns, laughter, and dancing to everyone’s ’80s favorites from the band Rubiks Groove.

But the highlight of the night centered around WCAR’s most prestigious awards.

In addition to honoring outstanding members, WCAR also honored outstanding affiliates and donors for the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC).

Affiliate of the Year went to Julie Arnold, Highlands Residential – The Julie Arnold Team, for her generous support of WCAR. The Rookie of the Year award went to Lisa Davis for outstanding production and proficiency of a new REALTOR® with less than two years of experience.

Dawne Davis received WCAR’s highest honor, REALTOR® of the Year, for her perseverance and work in the interest of her fellow REALTORS®, their profession, our community, and WCAR.

This year’s event was sold out, and was the

result of a year’s worth of planning by the group’s diligent awards committee.

The Celebration of Excellence awards program was designed to enhance professional and personal success.

It is WCAR’s opportunity to recognize members who have gone beyond the strenuous task of selling real estate. Members honored have taken their
careers to the next level by enhancing their professional development skills through WCAR education courses and have played a valuable part in the Williamson County community in which they serve.
