The Sisterhood, a Christian-focused community of women, will be hosting the Sisterhood Marketplace on Wednesday from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the UAW Hall in Spring Hill.
The Sisterhood Marketplace is a Christmas-themed women-only shopping extravaganza.
Featuring more than 30 new vendors, the event invites women to come in their favorite pajamas or ugly Christmas sweaters, where they could potentially win the contest for best outfit. The Sisterhood also invites guests to bring their own homemade cookies, and will also feature a visit from Santa Claus, perfect for those Christmas cards.
From 5 to 7 p.m., guests will be able to shop, enjoy cookies, purchase a Chick-fil-A dinner, and other yet still undisclosed surprises. From 7 to 8 p.m., the Sisterhood invites guests to participate in worship and Christmas Carols, and after 8 p.m., guests are encouraged to shop til’ they drop.
The event will also be for the benefit of Place of Hope, a Christian-based alcohol and drug rehabilitation center in Columbia. The Sisterhood will be collecting toiletries, brushes and combs, robes, house shoes, socks, journals, hats, gloves, scarves and comfy blankets for the clinic’s support staff.
The event is free to attend, and kicks off at 5 p.m. on Wednesday at the UAW Local 1853, located at 125 Stephen P. Yokich Parkway, Spring Hill, TN 37174.
