Columbia State Community College’s Center for Workforce Development is offering an ACT test prep course this fall for Middle Tennessee high school students who plan to take the required national college admissions exam this semester.

Students will have two opportunities to meet in Williamson County one evening per week for five weeks. The course is fast-paced and covers the five areas of the ACT test: English, math, reading, science and writing.

Students will also learn test-taking strategies and take practice tests. The cost is $140 per person, and each student will receive a prep guide on the first evening of class.

The course will be offered at Columbia State’s Williamson County campus Sept. 9-Oct. 7 from 5:30-8 p.m. and at Page High School Oct. 28-Dec. 2 from 5:30-8 p.m.

Classes fill quickly, so students are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Registration will be complete upon receipt of payment.

There will also be meetings in Maury County and Marshall County in September and October.

A full course description, meeting locations and additional information are available on the website or by calling 931-540-2659.
