Dunkin’ Donuts will celebrate National Donut Day Friday with free treat

Dunkin’ Donuts will ring in one of its favorite days of the year, National Donut Day, on Friday, June 1 by once again offering guests a free classic donut of their choice (while supplies last) with the purchase of any beverage.

The offer is valid all day on June 1 at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide on classic donut favorites including Boston kreme, glazed, glazed chocolate and strawberry frosted with sprinkles.

There are six locations in Williamson County in Brentwood, Franklin, Spring Hill and Fairview.

In celebration of the day, Nashville-based singer/songwriter Tristan Jackson will host a meet-and-
greet and live performance at the Brentwood Dunkin’ Donuts on Friday, June 1 at 3 p.m.

In addition to playing his new hit “Wake Up Call,” Jackson will celebrate National Donut Day with guests. The Brentwood Dunkin’ Donuts is located at 4930 Thoroughbred Lane.

National Donut Day was originally established in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor women who served donuts to soldiers during World War I.  The holiday is traditionally celebrated on the first Friday of June.
