Early voting results for Spring Hill 2019 election released


As election day in Spring Hill draws to a close, the Maury County Election Commission has released the results for both early and absentee voting. Election Day results are still being tallied by election officials, and will be pending shortly.

For Ward 1, Liz Droke took a strong lead against the other candidates, with a total of 253 votes. In second was John Canepari with a total of 207 votes, 156 votes for Alex Jimenez, and 41 votes for Bryan Watt.

In Ward 2, incumbent Alderman Matt Fitterer took the easy lead with a total of 599 votes, against 32 write-in votes.

In Ward 3, Dan Allen took the lead against incumbent Alderman Susan Zemek, with votes of 364 and 297, respectively.

And lastly, Ward 4 saw Hazel Nieves take the early lead with a total vote count of 359, against Doug Holtz’ 302 votes.
