Easter Egg hunts include one tailored for kids with special needs

Franklin First United Methodist Church, across from Battle Ground Academy inside the Mack Hatcher Parkway loop, is putting on their Eggstreme Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 14 from 3-4:30 p.m.

In addition to their traditional “Eggstreme” hunt for thousands of brightly colored eggs, the church also is offering an “Eggsessible Egg Hunt” for any child who has special needs or limited mobility. This hunt will be designed specifically for them and will begin promptly at 3:05 p.m., before the main egg hunt. Participants are encouraged to spread the word about the activity to other families with special needs children.

There will be opportunities for fun on inflatables, food trucks and an all-out run to find those prized eggs. Children will be divided into age-level groups.

Franklin First United Methodist Church is at 120 Aldersgate Way, Franklin, TN 37069.
