The Third Annual “Experience Spring Hill” event taking place at Summit High School on July 13, 2019, has added a new facet this year, a career fair.
According to the Spring Hill Chamber of Commerce, “Experience Spring Hill” is its most popular community event. It was created to allow residents of Middle Tennessee to encounter all the city has to offer, while giving local businesses the chance to interact with the community.
This year, those businesses will have an opportunity to connect with those seeking employment in the area with the introduction of the Experience Spring Hill Career Fair, sponsored by Williamson Medical Center.
“After gaining feedback from our members and past event participants as well as witnessing a consistently low unemployment rate in our area, we decided to meet a need in our community by attaching a Career Fair to an event that has successfully attracted a wide variety of Spring Hill residents,” Chamber Executive Director Rebecca Melton said. “We view this addition as the perfect way for us to carry out our core purpose of serving our local business community by helping our members thrive while being a connector and trusted resource to the Spring Hill community.”
Job seekers will have the opportunity to network with employers that represent a variety of industries and are urged to bring multiple resumes to have on hand.
Summit High School is located at 2830 Twin Lakes Dr.
