The Spring Hill Parks and Recreation Department announced the originally scheduled screening of “Friday the 13th” set for Friday has been canceled.

Movie night on the lawn at Rippavilla has been canceled, following “unforeseen circumstances,” according to the Parks and Recreation Department.

The annual Pumpkin Fest and barn dance, both scheduled for Rippavilla on Saturday, is still set to proceed as planned.

Pumpkin Fest begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 2 p.m. and includes a one-mile Family Fun Run through the Haunted Woods, a pumpkin-paint-along and, of course, a pumpkin patch.

The barn dance goes from 6-10 p.m. and costs $10 per person.

Event information and a full schedule of the day’s event can be found here.
