Habitat gets boost from Property Brothers on year-end fundraising effort

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF WILLIAMSON-MAURY

Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury works to further the philosophy that success begins with stable, safe shelter, and is asking for help by tonight from those who share that philosophy.

The Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott, couldn’t agree more and work tirelessly to champion the mission and work of Habitat for Humanity around the world.

Property Brothers is a Canadian reality television series produced by Cineflix, and is the original show in the Property Brothers franchise. The HGTV series features identical twin brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott.

“We’ve seen firsthand how affordable homeownership changes lives,” Jonathan Scott says. “Owning your own home – it’s not even just the American dream, it’s a human dream, it’s a family dream. It’s something that we think everybody should have the right to and access to, and Habitat for Humanity is who does it the best.”

Habitat for Humanity is trying to raise enough money to build 14 homes in 2019. Donors are asked to act before midnight to help the group attain that goal.
