Independence’s Bossman among players to make Tennessee soccer coaches All-State list

A slew of Williamson County soccer players popped up on the Tennessee High School Soccer Coaches Associations’ 2019 All-State list.

Brentwood midfielder Sam Khomtchenko, forward Blake Chalfant and goalkeeper Jake Severino made the Division 1-AAA honors list, as did Independence defender Hunter Bossman.

For D-II AA, Fairview’s 2019 Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year Brandon Parrish made the midfielder list, and Yellow Jackets Nate Phillips and Ethan Shelley made the group of defenders.

For D-I A, Grace Christian Academy’s Shewit Worton, Malachi Jones and Alex Johnson made the midfielder mark, and forward Sam Barrionuevo made the list for forwards.

In D-II A, Christ Presbyterian Academy saw forward Baker Avinger, defender Harrison Rody and goalie Brown Myers make the cut.

BGA had forward Robby Lape and midfielder Charlie Jewell earn honors.
