In the Galleria Mall parking lot, fenced off for construction, two new developments are under construction.
One is going to be a Red Robin.
Next to that, according to city of Franklin Building and Neighborhood Services department, will be a location for an indoor skydiving business.
No permits have been filed, but the city confirmed that it currently believes that to be the purpose of the building.
CBL Properties, the company that owns and developed the mall, would only confirm that two new buildings are under construction.
“At the mall, between Macy’s and Aveda, two pads are being built for two buildings – while I cannot confirm tenant names at this time, I can tell you one is being built for a restaurant,” wrote Stacey Keating, public relations director for CBL, in an e-mail.
