Local leaders formally endorse Blackburn in U.S. Senate race
Williamson County municipal and legislative leaders went on record endorsing U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Brentwood, who is running for U.S. Senator against Democrat Phil Bredesen.

Blackburn, 66, was first elected to the U.S. House in 2002 after serving in the Tennessee state Senate.

She entered the U.S. Senate race late last year following an announcement from Sen. Bob Corker that he would not run again.
