More than 400 are expected to attend the inaugural Williamson Chamber business expo on Thursday, Sept. 25 at The Factory at Franklin.

Author Sarah Sladek is the keynote speaker and will deliver an address in Jamison Hall at the event, which begins at 3 p.m.

Sladek’s XYZ University management consulting company, founded in 2002, helps organizations engage younger professionals. The guest speaker recently published Knowing Y, which examines the workforce generation known as the Millennials, born between the early 1980s and early 2000s.

A mixer with food and drink provided will begin at 4 p.m., and guests are invited to visit more than 60 business exhibits in Liberty Hall. All exhibitor booths have sold out.

Premier presenting sponsor, TN Media will offer a free business seminar from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m., which requires no reservation.

Thursday’s event will replace the chamber’s monthly membership meeting in September.

Admission is $30, including two drink tickets, for both chamber members and nonmembers. For the expo and mixer alone, excluding Sladek’s address, admission is $20. Register at williamsonchamber.com or by calling 615-771-1912.
