Nashville Opera is bringing a bilingual opera program to the Williamson County Public Library main branch for two performances this week.
Bear Hug/Abraza de Oso, will be presented at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at the library, 1314 Columbia Ave., Franklin.
The Nashville Opera on Tour program is the company’s first bilingual children’s opera, and features music from traditional Spanish operas, called zarzuela.
Bear Hug/Abraza de Oso tells the story of four bears from different countries. Each speaks a different language and all of them look different, but they end up discovering how alike they are.
The programs are free.
