Ryan O’Conner of Nolensville, Tenn., will be a contestant on the TV game show Wheel of Fortune on Tuesday, April 9, 2019.
O’Conner works in human resources process improvement and is married with one child. He told show staff that he enjoys hockey, soccer, and golf, as well as cheering on his favorite team, the Nashville Predators. O’Conner also said he loves all the music Nashville has to offer — not only country music. He has been tuning in to Wheel of Fortune since he was little, when he used to watch with his grandma. O’Conner began his journey to be a contestant when he applied through WheelofFortune.com.
The show airs at 6:30 p.m. weeknights on WKRN (News 2).
O’Conner is appearing during “America’s Game” week on Wheel of Fortune. He will be spinning the Wheel, calling out consonants, and buying vowels to solve hangman-style puzzles and win once-in-a-lifetime vacations, new cars, and cash prizes.
Wheel Watchers Club members will want to pay specific attention to the Mystery Round. If the $10,000 Mystery Wedge is won by a contestant, then the SPIN ID of a loyal viewer at home will be revealed, giving them the chance to also win $10,000.
O’Conner’s appearance is the latest to showcase Williamson residents. Phillip and Laura Beth Peters of Franklin, and Lanre Adeola of Spring Hill all were contestants on the program during February.
