OBITUARY: James Kevin Turner

James Kevin Turner, age 52, of the Bethesda Community passed away July 16, 2019.

He was the owner and operator of Green Thumb Lawncare and Twisted T Farm where he raised cattle. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and lover of the outdoors, but he was best known across states for his competitive coon hunting.

Preceded in death by his father, James Raymond “Jimmy” Turner; grandparents, Thomas and Nina Irene Warren and S.L. and Vera Campbell Turner. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Giles Turner of the Bethesda Community; daughters, Amber Nicole Turner of Franklin, Tennessee, Kasey Jo Turner of the Bethesda Community and Taylor Cheyenne Turner of the Bethesda Community; mother, Carolyn Warren Turner of Franklin, Tennessee; sister, Rhonda Turner Hammett of Franklin, Tennessee; nieces, Mackenzie and Madi Hammett of Franklin, Tennessee; beloved pets, Cooper, Nip and Steel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home where his life will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Hurt Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Graves, Mike Pigue, Milton Crutcher, Wayne Whitt, Vern Everette, Chip Hood, Rusty Reynolds, Steve Barnett, Jimmy Plemons, Buzz Lynch and William Underwood.
