OBITUARY: Paul Thomas Stevenson

Paul Thomas Stevenson, of Franklin, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2014, surrounded by his family. He was 66.

Paul Thomas Stevenson, of Franklin, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2014, surrounded by his family. He was 66.

Mr. Stevenson was a sales consultant for 42 years with Tom James Clothiers and won several awards for his accomplishments. He was a member of the Wednesday Richland Lunch Group and the Tuesday Night Monthly Group. A 1970 graduate of Tennessee Tech, he also was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, and Bethlehem United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Pamela Ann Stevenson; sons, Matt and Andrew Stevenson; mother, Irene Stone Stevenson; one sister, Alice Ann (Rogers) King; mother in law, Josephine Masters; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas W. Stevenson; a sister, Kathleen Stevenson; and his father in law, Herman Masters.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with Steve Peden and Ryan Bennett officiating. Visitation will also be from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday with entombment at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sparta, TN. Active pallbearers will be Bill Beuerlien, Phil Williams, Bill Shipp, Tom Chappell, Lee Kraft and Bob Faucheux. Honorary pallbearers will be the Wednesday Luncheon Group at Richland, Buckie Parsons and Wayne Steele.
