William Daniel “Dan” Cochran passed away on March 11, 2019 at the age of 61.
Dan is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 38 years, Amy Marie Boling Cochran; daughters Julie Marie Cochran Fuller (Gregg), Jeannie Lee Cochran Moss (Ryan), and Jody Ellen Cochran; grandchildren Jackson Wayne Fuller and Samuel Howard Fuller, Micah Christopher Moss and Lorelei Marie Moss; brother and sister-in-law John Alexander Cochran, Jr. and wife Pamela Grizzard Cochran, brother Steven George Cochran, sister Rebecca Cochran Linville and husband Stanley Linville, niece and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his parents John Alexander Cochran and Nola Nadine Alexander Cochran.
Dan was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. He enjoyed a long and successful career with ALCOA followed by a career with Reynolds Food Packaging. He led the Reynolds Consumer Bakeware Business and was Director of Manufacturing for Reynolds Food Packaging. Most importantly, Dan was a man of truth, wisdom, and logic. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He battled long-term illness with determination, grace, and courage. His family is pleased to see him return to his Father in heaven.
To celebrate his life, Dr. Bryan Brooks will conduct a service at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, at Franklin First United Methodist Church, 120 Aldersgate Way, Franklin, TN. His family will receive friends at 2:30-4 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, at Franklin First United Methodist Church. Active pallbearers are Ryan Moss, Gregg Fuller, Wes Boling and Will Boling.
