One driver died in a crash this morning on Interstate 65, and another driver was sent to the hospital.
The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. about a mile north of the Saturn Parkway on ramp.
Interstate 65 continues to be mostly shut down while the Spring Hill Police Department investigates the crash. One lane going north will be open intermittently, and lanes may be closed on the southbound side occasionally. A police department spokesman said he wasn’t sure how long those lanes will be closed.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash. The driver that survived was alert and able to walk around before being transported to the hospital.
Police are investigating the crash and should have more information later today.
