The purpose of the Warehouse function is to handle, count stock and pick material. The Production Manager and the Warehouse Lead are the main points of contact. The Warehouse Lead will supervise a team of three other members.

Duties and responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)

The main duties of the Warehouse function include operation of lift trucks and pickers in a safe manner, unloading containers, counting material, cycle counting material, stocking material, picking material and delivering material to production locations, as well as packing, shipping material and loading trucks intended for customers.

Operation of scanners and computers for inventory management is required.

Physical requirements:

  • Frequent lifting of weights up to 50 pounds individually and up to 100 pounds in concert with a fellow employee is required.
  • Vision requirements include ability to read computer screens and scanner screens as well as peripheral vision.
  • Ability to safely operate a lift truck (certified training required) and a stock picker are required.
  • Employee will frequently walk around the plant or warehouse facility and may be required to unload containers, handling each box by hand until it is stacked and placed in appropriate racking.
  • In addition to walking employee must occasionally be able to sit, crawl, drive, stand, stoop kneel, crouch and crawl.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • The painter may be required to sand, clean, prime and prepare the surface to be painted or coated.
  • The painter may be called on to run the automatic robotic spray machine or to hand spray using pneumatic paint spray equipment including primer coat, base coat and top coat with required sanding in between coats.
  • Skilled painters may also be required to perform glazing, mix paint to match colors and perform distressing processes to provide artful finishes for premium finished cabinetry products.

The work environment while indoors and in temperate conditions does require long exposure to paint mist and therefore requires the use of eye protection and respirator equipment. Paint overspray is constantly present so protective clothing and boots are required.
