Spring Hill residents asked to conserve water Monday after water line break

BY ALEXANDER WILLIS

Spring Hill residents are being asked by city staff to conserve water Monday due to a break in the main water supply line. City staff are currently working to repair the break, and are anticipated to complete the repairs sometime this afternoon between 4 and 6 p.m.

Residents are asked to refrain from washing vehicles, fill swimming pools, water lawns and plants, and any other non-immediate water needs until the repairs are completed. The city’s Splash Pad at Port Royal Park will also be closed while repairs are made.

The breakage occurred south of Kedron Road and east of Interstate 65 on Joe Brown Road, which will be closed to traffic while the repairs are being made.
