Two suspects in a recent fatal shooting will appear in General Sessions Criminal Court on Wednesday, Jan. 23.

Dustin William Russell, 24, and Lyndsey G. Bronston, 18, are suspected in the Dec. 3 fatal shooting on Dozier Court which left 25-year old Clark Cable dead.

On Monday, December 3, Brentwood Police officers responded at about 11 p.m. to a 911 call about a shooting at a house on Dozier Court in the Brenthaven subdivision.

The Police Department believes the suspects drove up, shot multiple times into the house and then fled.

Cable died from a gunshot wound to the chest at the house. Police believe he was specifically targeted. There were other family members in the house when the shooting happened, but they weren’t harmed.

Though investigators declined to release specific information pending a criminal trial, Brentwood Police say the weapon used in the shooting was a handgun.

Russell and Bronston, who were extradited from Arizona on Jan. 17, are being held at Williamson County Jail on bonds of $3 million and $2 million, respectively.

Russell will be represented Wednesday by criminal defense attorney Eric Larson. Bronston, by a public defender.

Both defendants face charges of criminal homicide, or “the unlawful killing of another person,” according to Title 39, Chapter 13 of Tennessee Code.

An initial hearing will take place at 9 a.m. on Jan. 23 at the Williamson County Courthouse in Franklin.
