Sweeney Hill Farm in Spring Hill will be holding its farm animal petting zoo event this Sunday, were interested guests can come by the carload to get a chance to get hands-on with the farm’s over a dozen goats, as well as its dozens of chickens.
Admission is $10 per carload and includes five bags of corn to feed the animals, with additional bags costing $1 each. The event is scheduled from 1 – 5 p.m., with the farm recommending guests wear close-toed shoes, as well as bring hand sanitizer or baby wipes.
Established in 2015, Sweeney Hill Farm sits in the southernmost corner of Spring Hill, a ways west of I-65 on Cliff Amos Road. Raising mainly goats and chickens, the farm recently started beekeeping, and regularly hosts a six-week beginners beekeeping course for $95.
Sweeney Hill Farm is located at 1234 Cliff Amos Road in Spring Hill. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled to the following week on May 26.
