The following is the weekly Tennessee Department of Transportation update for Williamson County for Thursday, July 10, through Wednesday, July 16:

Widening of Interstate 65 from State Route 840 to State Route 248, interchange modifications and widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Monday, July 14, through Wednesday, July 16, 1 p.m. – There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 northbound and southbound at MM 61.5 for blasting.

Widening of State Route 253 (Concord Road) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday, July 10, through Wednesday, July 16, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Traffic will be flagged during trench and bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.

Performance based maintenance Work on I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday, July 10, through Wednesday, July 16, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. – There will be possible lane closures to patch potholes on an as needed basis.
  • Thursday, July 10, through Wednesday, July 16, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. – There will be possible lane closures to repair guardrail on an as needed basis.
  • Friday, July 11, 8 p.m. through Monday, July 14, 6 a.m. – There will be alternating lane shifts on the ramps of I-65 and Cool Springs Boulevard (Exit 68, northbound and southbound) and on the ramps from SR 840 westbound to I-65 northbound and southbound to replace concrete. Traffic will be maintained.

TDOT bridge inspection

  • Thursday, July 10, 8 p.m. through Friday, July 11, 5 a.m. – There will be lane closures on I-65, northbound and southbound, at the Harpeth River and State Route 106, for bridge inspection. One lane will remain open.

TDOT Mmaintenance

  • Thursday, July 10, through Wednesday, July 16, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. – There will be possible lane closures at various locations on I-65 to patch potholes on an as-needed basis.
