viva! nashvegasKassie and Benjamin are the Americana duo My One And Only. Kassie moved to Nashville from her home state of Alabama to follow a country music career. During her solo years, Kassie perfected her songwriting and vocals. Originally from Iowa, Benjamin pursued music early, then segued to audio engineering and pursuits in Nashville. It was in Music City they met, and melded hearts and music. The union is the centering of Kassie and Benjamin; the result is a remarkable off-center sound right for the time combining Southern soul with curious grittiness. They have played stages throughout the United States as well as touring Uganda, Africa, and have both graced the stage of the famed Ryman Auditorium in their hometown of Nashville.
My One And Only declares performance as their love-share to the world. “The stories behind our songs make them come alive, and in our live shows, people discover that,” Ben said.  Kassie agreed, “We want to share our music and heart with as many people as possible.”

viva! nashvegasMichael Bonagura and Alan LeBoeuf provided the creative harmonies, fronted by the powerful lead vocals of Kathie Baillie to build the unique sound of  “Baillie And The Boys.” The release of their first RCA single, which by blending an east coast pop sound while keeping the traditional Nashville songwriting and sometimes personal lyrics the group became known for, garnered them instant Top Ten success on the Country Charts. With the release of the group’s second CD, “Turn The Tide” the 1st single released from that project quickly shot up the charts to the # 3 position and was one of the longest running country singles on the charts for a record breaking 37 weeks becoming one of the most performed songs of 1988. The next three singles off of that CD; “She Deserves You”, “Turn The Tide” and “(I Wish I Had A) Heart Of Stone” were some of the biggest country singles of 1988 and 1989. LeBoeuf left the group at the height of it’s career to pursue a solo more mainstream pop direction, but has rejoined several times over the past 10 years for various projects and tours. In 1990, the group minus LeBoeuf released what was to become one of their biggest hits; the remake of Hank Snow’s classic, “A Fool Such As I” followed by “Treat Me Like A Stranger” and “Perfect” completing a perfect string of 10 consecutive Top Ten Hits while on the RCA label. In 1995 Kathie Baillie co-hosted one of TNN’s top rated variety shows; Yesteryear as well as hosting several award shows and television specials. Continuing to perform – touring around the country while releasing the CD “Lovin Every Minute” on the Intersound label, “Angel In Chains” a movie sound track featuring eight Baillie And The Boys songs followed by “Viscaya” and “The Road That Led Me To You” the group continued to receive accolades from the media. Their most recent release “I Will Run” is currently available on all online retailers.
