Though none advanced on to the semifinals round, a handful of Williamson County bowlers participated in the week’s state matches.
In boys Division 1, Brentwood’s Drake Austin bowled a cumulative 724 in four games, not quite at the mark to advance on to the quarterfinals.
The same goes for Centennial’s Frankie Negron, who bowled a total of 698.
For girls Division 1, Page’s Sarah Garrett bowled a cumulative 614, and Daphne Pruitt had a 538.
Neither advanced on to the quarterfinals, though.
No Williamson County school team advanced on to the state rounds.
