Update: CPA moved its home Elite 8 boys basketball game against GCA-Knoxville to Monday night at 6:00 p.m.
Nolensville and Fairview have moved their home games to Monday night at 7:00 p.m.
Though the game will play on in Williamson County this weekend with inclement weather, some of the start times will be a bit earlier than planned.
In a response to the heavy rain, severe storms and potential for flooding that continue into the weekend for the county, various tournament games have been bumped up to avoid late night start times.
For this weekend’s county region tournament out at Brentwood, the new times are as follows, courtesy of WillCo Sports Conference:
Friday (2/22) – Girls Region Quarterfinals at Brentwood High School
Ravenwood vs Hillsboro – 2:00 p.m.
Antioch vs Brentwood – 3:30 p.m.
McGavok vs Dickson Co. – 5:00 p.m.
Page vs Cane Ridge – 6:30 p.m.
Saturday (2/23) – Boys Region Quarterfinals at Brentwood High School
Ravenwood vs Hillsboro – 12:00 p.m.
Cane Ridge vs Brentwood – 1:30 p.m.
McGavok vs Franklin – 3:00 p.m.
Summit vs Overton – 4:30 p.m.
The Nolensville region quarterfinals games have also changed times.
The Lady Knights will start their game Friday night against Hickman Co. at 5:00 p.m.
The Grace Christian Academy Lady Lions will move their home game against Huntland to Saturday at 12:30 p.m. from its initial Friday start time.
GCA’s boys game at Fayetteville has been moved up to 3:00 p.m. Saturday out at Fayetteville.
Brentwood Academy’s girls home game against St. Agnes (Friday night, 6:00 p.m.) and CPA’s girls home game against Northpoint Christian (Friday night, 6:00 p.m.) are also continuing as scheduled for now.
There’s no word of a schedule change for the BA Eagles, set to play tomorrow night, though that could change as weather develops.
