Home Page Media Group has an immediate opening for a beat reporter who is interested in local news, public affairs, education, and the growth and development that is transforming this place we call home.
If you’re the Home Page’s new Associate Editor/Reporter, you will know the Spring Hill/Thompson’s Station beat so well that you can report on the most important stories in government, crime, courts, business and schools as well as creative feature stories on interesting people, places and trends.
As our new Associate Editor/Reporter, you’ll have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; proficiency in Microsoft Office; clear understanding of social media platforms, experience with photography and multi-media and content management systems (training provided). You’ll have a valid TN driver’s license; proof of car insurance; cell phone; Internet access; and a laptop computer.
Your ability to produce work in a timely and professional manner, often in deadline situations, without skipping a beat is a must. Residency in the coverage area is desired but not required.
